The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) recently released the latest updates regarding Philhealth Cares Project, which thousand of nurses applied online nationwide , hoping to be part of the said program.


Updates on Philhealth Cares

From February 12-14, 2012, we accepted 23,000 online applications nationwide for the PhilHealth Customer Assistance, Relations andEmpowerment Staff (CARES) Project.

The PhilHealth CARES nurses will be deployed to All Levels 3 & 4 accredited hospitals and Levels 1 to 2 accreditedgovernment hospitals only. They will provide onsite assistance to members, address issues and queries on membership, eligibility & benefits availment andconduct surveys and studies developed by the Corporation.

The PROs were provided with the list of pre-qualified applicants per regionbased on the selection criteria set by the Corporation and transmitted the finalmatrix with ranking of applicants last March 23, 2012.

The Training of Trainors was conducted by the Human Resource Department in coordination with the PhilHealth CARES Project Team last March 20-22, 2012, while the ten-day Competency Training Program for the PhilHealth CARES will be conducted simultaneously in the regions from April 16-27, 2012.

The deployment of trained PhilHealth CARES will start on May 2, 2012.
