The Department of Health has confirmed the continuation of the RN HEALS 4, a program that aims to address the unemployment of nurses, while at the same time providing healthcare to the Filipinos, especially the poor and those located at rural areas. The Department of Health has issued a statement via its official Facebook account regarding RN Heals Batch 4 and it read as follows:
“Application for RN Heals 4 will start by November 1-30. The guidelines for application is still being reviewed. It will be posted as soon as it is finalized. Those who were part of the previous RN Heals 1-3 need not apply to give chance to those who have not undergone the training.”
UPDATE: According to the DOH Facebook page, you can now submit your bio-data but application forms are not yet available. Their statement reads:
“RN Heals application form is not yet available, the processing of application will start on November. You may submit your bio-data and other pertinent documents at any of the 70 DOH retained hospitals including specialty hospitals. For the health centers you may submit to the municipal health offices. Application forms will be available on November 1-30, 2012.”
It is clear that the application shall start by November 1. It is good to get your documents ready so that you can apply as soon as they accept applications. As to what the DOH said, the official guidelines for the application are still being finalized and they will be posted when they are finished.
Despite this announcement however, RNHeals 4 Region 7 and 10 are now accepting applications online.

The DOH has also made it clear that those who were a part of RN Heals batches 1-3 need not apply to give others the chance to be employed.
